Our commitment to children

We support our employees and their families in their search for the best possible way of combining their work and private life. In order to help parents to return to work after the birth of a child, we have opened our own childcare facilities at the company.

Childcare situation
Our nursery looks after a maximum of nine children who are divided into two groups. Each group is run by a qualified, state-approved nursery teacher.

Premises
With 150 square meters at their disposal, the “Orthomolinis” have sufficient space, toys and educational material. Each group has its own room where the children eat together as well. Two other rooms are available for sleeping and resting. The sanitary area is equipped with children’s toilets, washbasins and a nappy-changing area.
There is also a kitchen and computer workstation for use by the nursery teachers.

Concept
As the majority of the children at the daycare center are under the age of three, early learning plays an important role. We are particularly concerned about encouraging movement, language (English words and songs are included in our Toy Talk), musical and creative abilities and the training of perception with all the senses.
We take the children outside at least once a day, either to enjoy nature or to the company’s own play area.

Opening hours
Our opening hours are oriented on the needs of working parents. The daycare center is open Mondays to Thursdays from 7.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. and Fridays until 4 p.m.
It is only closed on public holidays.
